Heat and pressure breaths life back into a salvaged acrylic. The over heated acrylic bubbles as moisture locked in it's walls expands to steam. A new form is given to the dead.

The Bone Garden

Inspired by flowers, bones, fungi, veins, mold, rot, roots and much more I have set out to establish my own formal design language. In developing this language over the past few years I have come to call it the Bone Garden. Bone Lamp 05 is a freeze frame of the ephemeral flow of mold over a plum or the sun bleached cancellous bones of a dead deer in the woods.
